11 Honoré partners with Nordstrom for exclusive capsule
Size-inclusive luxury retailer 11 Honoré has teamed up with Nordstrom to launch an exclusive collection from its own in-house brand at the department store chain.
Now available on the Nordstrom e-commerce site, as well as in a number of the retailer’s physical stores, the first drop from 11 Honoré offers a selection of back-to-work pieces in sizes 12 to 26.
The 14-piece capsule includes pants, blazers, shirts, blouses, cardigans, sweaters and coats. Prices range from $128 to $248.
Stand-out looks include a sharp yet laid-back blush suit made up of the collection’s Olivia Boyfriend Blazer and Chloe Straight Leg Pants, the Iris Ruched Body-Con Dress in bold animal print, and the cosy Cora Merina Wool Blend Coat, offered in a warming shade described as “Golden Mustard.”
As explained by 11 Honoré design director Danielle Williams-Eke to HarpersBazaar.com, the collection was designed with the rise of hybrid work in mind and is therefore meant to be flexible and adaptable to different professional women’s needs.
“A businesswoman in corporate America might wear the Chloe trousers and Olivia blazer with heels for a chic power suit look,” she said. “but I [...] would wear the same Chloe Trousers with my sneakers and sweatshirt for a street style vibe.”
Founded by Patrick Herning in 2017, 11 Honoré is a pioneer in size-inclusive luxury fashion. As well as developing its own in-house line, the company has worked with brands including Altuzarra, Jason Wu and Jonathan Simkhai to bring extended sizing to their collections and open the world of luxury fashion to plus-size shoppers.
Nordstrom invested in 11 Honoré in 2019, but the launch of this exclusive capsule is the first retail partnership between the two businesses.
A second 11 Honoré drop is set to land at Nordstrom on October 14.
