SSL up on talk of L'Oreal bid interest

LONDON (Reuters) - Shares in healthcare product maker SSL rose nearly 4 percent to 392 pence on Friday as traders cited talk of bid interest from L'Oreal.

SSL declined to comment. L'Oreal, whose shares eased 0.1 percent, was not immediately available for comment but the company said on Thursday it was interested in acquisitions in cosmetics industry.

One trader said Reckitt Benckiser was also interested in SSL .
