Penhaligon's scents London Collections: Men

Penhaligon's has become the Official Skincare Sponsor of London Collections: Men, the UK capital's menswear fashion week set to kick off on January 9. 

One of the city's best-known fragrance houses, Penhaligon’s and the British Fashion Council announced that the brand is now the Official Skincare Sponsor of London Collections: Men 2015. 

Over the past year the brand has scented the womenswear shows during London Fashion Week as well as the London Collections: Men. Now that Penhaligon's are expanding into skincare with the Bayolea range launched last year (the scent was the official fragrance of last season's LC:M event), the link-up has continued into skincare. 

"Penhaligon’s is the perfect partner for London Collections: Men – it has a rich heritage, is admired by a global audience and it interprets tradition in its own unique way," explained the BFC's Jenico Preston. 

The January shows for the Fall/Winter 2015 season will be scented with the brand's Vaara fragrance, which was inspired by the Royal House of Marwar-Jodphur in Rajasthan and was originally a private commission for His Highness Maharaja Gaj Singh II. 

The scent opens with quince, rosewater, carrot and coriander seed, and saffron, before developing a heart of rose, magnolia, peony and iris. The woody accord of the drydown is complemented with tonka bean, musk and honey. Alongside the fragrance, the brand has also launched a Vaara candle (140g) for €44, which is available in stores now.
