Luis González Herrero, a new director for Springfield

Published
Jun 22, 2009

Luis González Herrero has been named director of Springfield. Having made his name in the retail sector on a national and international level, Mr Herrero will now lead the teams at Alcampo and C&A, where he has, among other things, launched the brand C&A Kids.

Luis González Herrero joined Springfield in 2005 in order to take charge of the launch of Springfield Woman, the women’s fashion line which came out in 2006.

“Luis González Herrero should now consolidate Springfield on the national market and drive the brand on to reach an international leadership level,” stated the Cortefiel group.

Springfield, which has more than seven hundred and forty points of sale in forty three countries, is a part of the larger Cortefiel group which owns Cortefiel, Pedro del Hierro and Women’Secret and has a network of more than fifteen hundred stores in fifty-seven countries.
