Kohl's to become the new home of Nine West beginning summer 2019

American department store Kohl’s has partnered with Authentic Brands Group to adopt the ABG-owned lifestyle brand Nine West into its brand roster beginning July 2019.
 

In addition to carrying Nine West footwear, handbags, and outwear in all of its stores nationwide as well as a selection online, Kohl’s will also be home to a new women’s apparel collection by Nine West.
 
“We’re excited to bring Nine West, a brand synonymous with fashion and sophistication, to Kohl’s customers nationwide,” said Doug Howe, Kohl’s chief merchandising officer. “We admire the role Nine West has played in shaping the footwear industry and its success in becoming one of the most recognized and desired brands among female consumers, particularly millennial customers.”

Nick Woodhouse, President and CMO of Authentic Brands Group, shared enthusiasm for the partnership. “We are excited to collaborate with Kohl’s on a Nine West collection of apparel and accessories and introduce Nine West to Kohl’s customers,” he said.
 
Despite market concerns over the future of department stores, Kohl’s has buoyed its success through a series of high-profile brand partnerships, as well as the streamlining of its operations and the bolstering its online strategy. Nine West joins other prominent brands strengthening Kohl’s business portfolio, including Adidas, Under Armour and Levi’s.
