Columbia Sportswear makes two more executive appointments

Columbia Sportswear announced on Wednesday the appointments of Jim Swanson to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and Peter Rauch as Senior Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer, both effective July 1, 2017.
 
The appointments come one week after several corporate leadership changes that included the promotion of Tom Cusick to EVP and COO.
 

Swanson joined Columbia in 2003 as Senior Global Financial Analyst and held numerous finance roles, including Finance Manager, Director – Strategic & Financial Planning and most recently VP Finance – Strategic and Financial Planning. He will assume the role of CFO from Cusick, who is assuming his new role as COO, effective July 1, 2017.
 
Rauch joined Columbia in 2008 as Retail Accounting Manager ,and he most recently served as VP, Chief Accounting Officer. As Chief Transformation Officer, he will lead the company’s newly-formed transformation office, which is being established as part of the on-going business assessment launched by the company in the first quarter of 2017.

Swanson and Rauch will both report directly to Tom Cusick.
