CFDA partners with Dia & Co. for plus-size campaign

Published

Plus-sized clothing company Dia & Co. has partnered with the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) to fund the making of more inclusive clothing sizes through the #TeeUpChange fundraising campaign.

Models wear t-shirt designs made for #TeeUpChange. - Via Dia & Co.

With the #TeeUpChange campaign, the brand and the CFDA will use t-shirt sales to raise money for student designers who make diverse size ranges. Offering five unique cotton shirt designs ranging from sizes 0X to 5X, all profits made from t-shirt sales will be used to help selected designers make their lines.

Each t-shirt design, created by one of five notable inclusivity advocates, retails at $35 and is made ethically in the United States.

In addition to the #TeeUpChallenge, Dia & Co. also announced plans to donate $1 every time social media users post the hashtag online, encouraging them to tag @diaandco and @cfda in their posts, and setting an upper limit of $10,000 for this initiative.

Founded in 2014 by CEO and co-founder Nadia Boujarwah, Dia & Co. sells a range of plus-sized clothing in styles and cuts that mirror popular mainstream fashion trends. Offering apparel in sizes 14 and up, the brand allows customers to sign up for style boxes that let them to try on clothing before purchase.

The five #TeeUpChange shirts are now available for purchase on the brand's website.
