Baselworld: a two-tone design for Chopard's latest Happy Sport watch

At Baselworld, which runs through March 26, the Swiss watch brand unveiled the latest version of its Happy Sport Medium Automatic. The new model stands out for its two-tone design in steel and rose gold.

After revealing its new Grand Prix de Monaco Historique collection, Chopard has presented another sports-focused watch, albeit a much more feminine one.

Two years after introducing the Happy Sport Medium Automatic, which commemorated the 20th anniversary of the first Happy Sport watch, Chopard has updated the iconic design with a 36mm case and bracelet in steel and 18K rose gold. The result is chic, luxurious and exceptionally feminine.

The Happy Sport Medium Automatic Two Tone has a silvered dial with a guilloché disc at its center and seven moving diamonds. The bezel is 18K rose gold, just like the crown, which is adorned with a blue sapphire.

A self-winding mechanical movement is at the heart of the new watch, with a power reserve of 42 hours. The model indicates the hours, minutes and seconds as well as the date in an aperture at 4:30.
