Australian retailer Colette by Colette Hayman eyes UK debut

Colette by Colette Hayman, an Australian fashion accessories retailer, is planning to enter the UK market by opening a flagship store in London.

The brand has secured a 2,325 sq ft store at one of London’s top shopping centres, Westfield Stratford City, where it will join some high street favourites like H&M, Zara, River Island and Next.

The store will open this October and will be followed by a second Colette by Colette Hayman location in Manchester Arndale Centre in November.

Founded in Sydney, the brand has over 160 stores spanning across Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates. It sells affordable, on-trend fashion accessories.

“Colette are an exciting brand who are actively looking to grow and expand their presence in the UK. Their arrival is a vote of confidence for the retail sector and demonstrates that the UK remains an important market for international brands to be present in,” said Graham Barr, Head of UK Retail Agency at CBRE.
