Amazing Jewelry confirms entry into Latin America

Danish jewelry brand Amazing Jewelry has signed a deal with a Mexican retailer to secure its entry into the Latin American market.

The partnership, signed at the end of 2017 by founder and CEO Jesper Nielsen with CMR, will see seven Amazing Jewelry stores open in the region.

“After a long trip through South and Central America, ending in Mexico City, we signed a master franchise agreement with a retail team led by Joaquin Vargas, and I look forward to seeing the first Amazing stores launch in Mexico, Panama, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Colombia very soon,” wrote Jesper Nielson on social media.

Nielsen, a former Pandora executive who founded and once headed the Endless Jewelry brand, launched Amazing Jewelry in 2016 as an affordable accessories brand for the mass market.

Amazing Jewelry’s first store launched in Copenhagen in June 2016, and was quickly followed by several store openings in Spain, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Egypt and South Arabia. The brand recently launched its third store in Romania’s Bucharest.

The rapid expansion is expected to continue into 2018, with Amazing Jewelry planning to open over 100 new locations in 25 countries and markets.
