Adidas sneaks out new City Socks for the summer season

The latest set of sneakers to join the Adidas Originals range build on the popularity of its existing NMD City Sock range but are cut to keep wearers cool in the summer months.

The new mid-cut model will go on sale initially in the US as the summer season gets underway and combines a Primeknit textile upper with alternating stripe patterns, a proper ‘Boost' midsole with added heel and arch supports. 

Although clearly streetwear rather than sportswear, they should work as well in the city or at the beach. Thanks to its Primeknit upper, designed to be lightweight and seamless, the sneakers take up little space in a suitcase or carry-on bag.
