Adidas Originals reveals new ad campaign

Adidas Originals' new campaign for its Superstar shoe looks to the 1990s for inspiration, with the four models described as "Posh Spice, Ginger Spice, Baby Spice and Sporty Spice." The brand says it shows "how we imagine The Spice Girls would be if they were formed in 2015, with a healthy dose of girl power."

The models, who include Swedish artist and photographer Arvida Byström, were cast by London's Anti-Agency, a modelling agency for people "who could’ve been models and decided not to, for people who are too cool to be models and people with real lives on the verge of exploding in music, fashion, art, illustration & creative industries etc."

The ad campaign was shot by young London-based photographer Olivia Richardson, with hair and makeup by the Kahlani Twins.

The Adidas Originals Superstar comes in black and white and was relaunched on Wednesday.
